This study was curried to find the effect of plant spacing and nitrogen fertilizing on flowering , plant growth and yield of squash ( Cucurbita pepo ) . The results showed that nitrogen fertilizer and plant spacing affected the mean number of flowers. The mean of male flowers Increased when the plant spacing 20 cm without fertilizer , whereas the mean of female flowers had increased when the Plant spacing 60 cm and 50 kg N/ donam . The leaves number and plant length had increased by increasing plant space and nitrogen level .Also the results showed that there was an increase in total yield per donam and fruits number by decreasing the planting space from 60 to 20 cm but the effect on fruit weight was reverse . number of fruits and fruit weight incase of increasingThere was a significant increase in yield quantity/donam, nitrogen level to 50 kg / donam. The maximum yield and fruits number per donam was obtained in case of planting space of 20 cm between plants and fertilizing with 50 kg / donam.en_US
