Abstract: Pseudomonas is a part of an enormous group of bacteria that are able to live in various environments and are known to cause a wide range of acute and chronic infections in animals. . the findings of this study demonstrated the importance of detecting Ps. aeruginosa because it is considered to be a multidrug resistant bacteria. This study included isolates of bacteria from 40 samples from different region of Baqubah city .0nly 3 isolates were identified as P. aeruginosa after conducting microscopic and biochemical tests. The identification of Pseudomonas aeruginosa was performed by conventional and molecular methods using the PASS primers by polymerase chain reaction (PCR). The recorded data pointed out that P. aeruginosa was successfully isolated from infected animals (sheep) with total percentages 7.5%. Bacterial isolates were identified by culture methods and biochemical test . To confirm the diagnosis more accurately at the level of the species, the molecular confirmation was performed by PCR amplification of genus. The results pointed out that all 3 selected isolates gave positive results, and the gene size was ≈ 950 bp. . In conclusion, the PCR approach aids the rapid detection of pseudomonas to reduce financial loss. remarkable, and they were fast and accurate.
