Abstract

يعد الدكتور عبد الله حميد العتابي احد ابرز المؤرخين الذين شهدتهم الساحة العلمية العراقية، وبالرغم من نتاجاته العلمية العديدة في كثير من الاختصاصات التاريخية الا نجمه بزغ في تاريخ العراق المعاصر، ولاسيما ثورة العشرين التي تناولها في ابحاثه بموضوعية كبيرة، جعلت منه مرجعاً تاريخياً لاحداثها، اذ تناولها باكثر من اربعة بحوث فضلاً عن المشاركات في المؤتمرات والندوات بطرح جديد اختلف عن ما طرح سابقاً في عرض احداث الثورة.Dr. Abdullah Hamid al-Atabi is considered one of the most prominent historians who witnessed the Iraqi scientific arena, and despite his numerous scientific productions in many historical disciplines, his star emerged in the contemporary history of Iraq, especially the Twentieth Revolution, which he dealt with in his research with great objectivity, making him a historical reference for its events, as It was dealt with by more than four researches, in addition to the participation in conferences and symposia with a new proposal that differed from what was previously presented in the presentation of the events of the revolution.
