Abstract

يعد عصر النهضة في القارة الأوربية واحداً من العصور التي مرت بها أوربا آنذاك وعدت نقطة تحول من العصر الوسيط المظلم إلى العصر الحديث حيث شهد فيه المجتمع الأوربي تحولاً عاماً شمل جميع نواحي المجتمع الأوربي منها الثقافية والدينية والعلمية والسياسية والاقتصادية والاجتماعية ولاشك أن هذا التحول الكبير جاء عقب ما مرت به القارة الأوربية بالكثير من المشاكل والإحداث وأيضا استفادة الأوربيين من الحضارات القديمة (اليونانية والرومانية) فضلاً عن تأثير الحضارة الاسلامية التي كان لها الدور الكبير في التأثير بالمجتمع الأوربي فكان لهذا التأثير الواسع أن أنتج الكثير من النظريات السياسية والأفكار الإصلاحية والتجارب العلمية والمدارس التاريخية وتطور الأدب والفن والثقافة ونمت اللغات القومية وتبلورت الدول الحديثة وشقت حركة الإصلاح الديني طريقها والكشف بشكل واضح عن دورها , ومن هنا ظهر لنا العديد من الفلاسفة الأوربيين الذين أسهموا بشكل واضح في زيادة الوعي والرقي للمجتمع والإنسان ولعل من أبرز هؤلاء الفيلسوف الفرنسي بير باييل وأثره في الفكر الفرنسي من خلال كتاباته الفلسفية وآراءه الفكرية.
