Abstract: A field experiment was carried out during winter season 2018-2019 at the field of Agriculture College / University of Basarh to determine the effect of nitrogen and phosphorus fertilization and their interaction on growth and yield of Fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-groeum L.). Phosphorus and nitrogen fertilizer were added at four levels (P0, P1, P2, P3) and (N0, N1, N2, N3) kg ha-1, respectively. This experiment was applied in Complete Randomized Block Design (R.C.B.D) with three replicates. Results showed phosphorus fertilizer P3 kg ha-1 was exceeded compared to other treatments and recorded the highest means of the plant height , the number of leaves, wet weight, and relative efficiency of fertilizer (15.58 cm, 35.01 leaf plant-1, 49.72 g , 124.0%) respectively. Nitrogen fertilizer increased growth parameters, and the level N3 kg ha-1 gave the highest means of the plant height and the number of leaves and number of plant branches , wet weight, dry weight and the relative efficiency of fertilizer ( 16.05 cm and 33.14 leaf plant -1 , 2.52 branch plant-1, 48.39 g, 8.02 g , 136.9%), respectively. There was a significant effect in the interaction of treatments P3 x N3 kg ha-1 recorded the highest means of the plant height , number of leaves, number of branches, wet weight, dry weight, and the relative efficiency of fertilizer (16.70 cm , 36.45 leaf plant-1 , 2.95 branches plant -1, 56.80 g , 8.50 g , 151.0 %) respectively.
