The main purpose of this paper is to investigate the possibility of securing objectivity in the assessment of litrary translation, and account for the main factors that can contribute to an objective assessment. In brief, the paper is intended to suggest a model that can be useful for teacher of translation in assessing their students' translation of literary texts .The suggested model can be useful in training students of translation on how to be more objective in the process of translation. To achieve this purpose, the paper attempts to answer two questions, viz ''Is it possible to secure objectivity in the assessment of literary translation? '', and if it is possible, ''How to secure it? '' .en_US
