Abstract: This research was conducted at Mandali , Diyala – Iraq to study fruit set and crop quantity in Date Palm C.V. Ashrassi. Highest fruit set (58.26 % ) obtained when pollinating on the day of Spathe opening and no statistics difference with pollinating before one day from Spathe opening (55.32 % ) . The delay decreased fruit set ,which was 50.76% (pollinating after 2 days ) and 27.08 % (pollinating after 4 days from Spathe opening ) . The same differences was obtained with crop quantity
