Abstract: This study involves the effect of the flux used to remove the inclusions content from the brass alloy (70/30). In this study three types of fluxes were used (A,B,C), in comparison to casting brass alloy (W) without using flux. The experiments were done by using the three types of fluxes with two different charges. The first was pure metals, the other is brass70/30. The main results obtained showed following major sequences of the specimen's qualities:- A > B > C > W (brass70/30) The duration of flux addition was investigated, different periods were adopted (1,3,5,7,10) minutes, and it showed that (7) min give the highest percentage in removing inclusions
