Abstract: This study aims at 1- investigating the communicative functions of illocutionary forms of the prophets and every day ritual supplications 2-showing the different types of supplications 3- the difference in terminology between the Muslims and Christians. It is hypnotized that 1- there are different illocutionary forms used by the supplicant to communicate with His Lord. 2-different illocutionary forms are controlled by the several situations and psychological feelings to convey his message to His God .
