Abstract

كان أبو منصور الماتريدي أحد أَكبر الأعلام الذين أثروا بصورة كبيرة في الفكر الإسلامي، وقد تصدّر مكانة محترمة ومشهورة بين أقرانه؛ بوصفهِ مؤسسًا للفرقة الماتريدية، واتبع أبو منصور المأثور عن الإمام الأعظم أبي حنيفة (رحمهُ الله)، وله الفضل العظيم في إثراء العقيدة الإسلامية بمؤلفاته، والدفاع عنها، وردّ شبهات الملحدين، ونفى عن العقائد كُلّ ما اعتراها من زيغ؛ فكان قوي الحجّة، وواسع العلم والذكاء والنبوغ، وتناول البحث سيرته الذاتية والعصر الذي عاش فيه. Abu Mansour al-Maturidi was one of the greatest figures who greatly influenced Islamic thought, and he commanded a respected and famous position among his peers. As the founder of the Maturidi sect, Abu Mansour followed the tradition of the greatest imam Abi Hanifa (may God have mercy on him), and he has great credit for enriching the Islamic faith with his writings, defending it, refuting the suspicions of atheists, and denying all the deviations that occurred in it. He was a strong argument, full of knowledge, intelligence and genius, and the research dealt with his biography and the era in which he lived.
